Craig is a Chartered Building Services Engineer, Member of the CIBSE, BREEAM Assessor and CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant.

Craig has approaching 15 years of experience in building services consultancy, having worked in number of major north east based design consultancies, and is a founding member of Kinetic Engineers. Craig spends most of his time maintaining and developing new streams of business, developing links with local education, and nurturing a team of talented individuals, championing sustainable and low carbon design in the built environment.

Hobbies – Fishing, going to the caravan with the family, and socialising. I would also like to say 5-a-side football but I haven’t played for about 5 years, but it’s coming!

Favourite book – The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene

Favourite food – Crispy duck and pancakes is one of the few things I’d divorce over.

Ben is a Chartered Engineer and a Low Carbon Energy Assessor to Level 5.

Having started working in the industry in 1998, Ben has worked up from a graduate engineer to being a Director of Kinetic Engineers Leeds in 2011. He has worked for major contractors and national consultants during his career pre Kinetic. Ben worked on a vast array of projects from small educational projects to large PFI projects in the healthcare sector, which took nearly 10 years of his career from conception to completion, and a few grey hairs to boot, but not too many!!.

Ben’s role is now working with the enthusiastic team in Leeds, growing the business and communicating clearly with existing and new clients in all sectors in the Yorkshire Region.

Hobbies – Having the pain of following Blackburn Rovers – no laughing now. At least I have seen them win silverware.

First music ever bought – Hate to say it but Shakin Steven’s &lqduo;This Old House” I was only 6!

Favourite food – You cannot beat a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings including Yorkshire Puddings!

Paul is a Chartered Building Services Engineer with over a decade of experience in the Building Services Industry. Paul works on a variety of projects ranging from small scale rewire design to delivering turnkey contracts and is a founding member of Kinetic Engineers. Within his role within Kinetic , Paul is responsible for maintaining solid working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new leads and is involved in the running of all electrical projects within the office.

Hobbies –A keen golfer and amateur photographer I would say these take up a majority of my free time away from work at the moment. I am also a fan of real ale and decent red wine although I”ve learned the hard way not to mix the two !

A degree qualified Engineer pursuing his Chartered status, with over fifteen years’ experience in the Building Services Industry. From an approved Electrician Playing off a golf handicap of 3, to Director of a vibrant design office in Leeds, Gavin has the practical and academic skills to bring added value to any Building services scheme.

Gavin has worked at a number of successful Building services consultancies in the Yorkshire region before being approached to join the Kinetic Group. In April 2010 Gavin and Business Partner Ben Duckworth launched the Kinetic Engineers Leeds Office as Directors, to make an impact and gain recognition within Yorkshire and surrounding areas through the development of new and existing Clients.

Hobbies – Loves reading building services technical literature, taking life as it comes, running (when not injured!), walking to the pub and stumbling back, cooking, golf when he finds the time and keeping his wife Amanda, son Finley and daughter Freya entertained.

Jon is a Chartered Building Services Engineer and is a Member of CIBSE.

Jon is approaching 20 years of service within the M&E Services Industry. Following graduation from University Jon worked as a design engineer for a nationwide consultancy before branching out into the field of M&E contracting. He worked in this field for some of the UK’s leading contractors holding senior management roles within these organisations working on a variety of complex, challenging and complicated projects within the UK. He has now come full circle and returned to the field of building services and environmental consultancy. Jon therefore has an excellent understanding of design management, construction methodologies and buildability issues. Jon’s role within the Kinetic Group is to share his hard extensive experience with his colleagues and above all, develop and build the business reaching out to new and potential clients.

Hobbies: Unfortunately these are now few and far between due to the demands of work & family life but anything with a ball is likely to make Jon jump up and pretend he still has what it takes!

Favourite Music: Anything ‘Madchester’, specifically New Order

Favourite Food: Looks like he’ll be out with Gavin on a regular basis as he loves Fish, Tapas and Indian food!

Stephen is an Incorporated Engineer, and member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

With over twenty years’ experience within the Building Services sector, he has operated at all levels, from Junior Engineer to Board Director. You could say he has been around the block a little. Before joining Kinetic in 2009, he was previously the Divisional MD of a large nationally based Building Services practice, responsible for all aspects of business development. Now Stephen`s role within Kinetic as Group MD sees him not so much on the ground, but as a direction finder, championing new ways of doing business and encouraging staff intervention and innovation.

Hobbies - likes getting muddy in his numerous Land Rovers
